Lapin

This is also a large, Lambert-type sweet cherry. The fruit is dark with lighter red flesh that is firm with a bright appearance.

The Lapin trees have really grown up over the last few years. They ripen a week later than the Stella, and are definitely worth waiting for.

Sweetheart

A fairly new sweet cherry recently developed in Summerland, BC. Sweethearts have large, bright red fruit that matures 5-7 days after Lapins, with good sweet flavor and firm flesh.

We planted a row of Sweethearts two years ago. They are growing quickly, and there will be a small amount available this year.

Rainier

Large, yellow fruit with a red blush similar to Royal Ann pie cherries. They have firm, clear to light yellow flesh that is fine-textured with a distinct flavor.

We have only a few mature trees of Rainier planted among the Stella. When you find a tree with yellow cherries instead of red, you have found a Rainier!

Many customers enjoy their flavor and we have planted more trees to meet the demand.
